Talking w/ Asta & Discovering New Places

I want to start off this blog entry with a little disclaimer:

I in no way, shape, or form expect you to read these, like these, re-tweet or post these or give a damn about my life, I'm simply doing this for me and if you don't like it, you are under no obligation to read it - Phew.

Now that I've got that out of the way I can talk a little bit about my day, not to boast (well maybe a little), but mostly because I want to share my experiences with you - the people who actually may give a damn.

I got to speak to Asta, who is a super cool, quirky, amazing and talented individual who continues to break into the music world with a truly authentic sound & message behind her artistry - you can find some of her music here.

Obviously I didn't just bump into Asta and talk to her, I was lucky enough that through Opus Magazine, I got the opportunity to interview her for an upcoming feature, which will be out soon. So stay tuned.

I'm a very lucky human to have these opportunities and cannot thank the Opus team enough for having me. You'll be seeing a lot more Opus pieces from me this year, hopefully!

Although I didn't get to talk to Asta in person - she was a real pleasure to speak to over the phone. It felt like I was talking to a friend, which is nice when usually it can be like walking on egg-shells. Trust me, I've been there. I've had some shocker interview experiences.

I think I could talk for a while about this lady, as she really was so lovely, but the important thing is she has her debut EP, Shine, coming out Feb. 17 😊 and an upcoming national tour. So, if you wanna see this amazing, glittery goddess perform, I will have her tour dates below.

As for the new place I discovered, it was Greg & Audrey's. I may have fell in love 💕

This cute little place resembled a 50s American diner/ice-cream bar with a modern twist. There were milkshakes, neon signs, all the ice-cream you could imagine, hot-dogs and chilli-fries, like what more could anyone want? Even vegetarian friendly options!

I'll insert an image to make you salivate, but you really need to get there yourself to experience the full affect. Plus, the people were so friendly & inviting, it won't be arm twisting.

I will admit that I may have walked out an inch thicker around my tummy, but it was a very happy tummy.

So, if you go there, I expect an invite. I'm serious.

I'm hoping that this year I will continue to discover more incredible foodie places like this & then I can let you in on them too. This very well may turn into a food blog... part 4.

'Till next time - Au revoir!
